Orange Polska is the leader on the Polish market of stationary telephony, Internet and data transmission.

The Foundation cooperates with Orange Polska within the scope of accessibility of services as well as provides advisory role concerning information solutions, applications and offers. Orange Polska will make every endeavour so that offers provided by it meet expectations of various clients. Particular attention should be paid to elderly people and persons with disabilities, trying to adapt the products and services to their needs. Within the scope of the cooperation, we assist Orange in adapting the Internet site according to WCAG 2.0 guidelines.

Orange Polska was also a partner while publishing the WCAG 2.0 Good Practices Manual by the Foundation.

Cooperation with the University of Silesia

University of Silesia websiteWidzialni Foundation cooperates with University of Silesia in Katowice for many years. 

We have developed and established new faculty "Digital and social exclusion: Internet sites, audio-description, multimedia". The faculty will educate future specialists within the scope of digital and social exclusion.

Together we have developed a complex methodology for testing websites based on the standard WCAG 2.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

Under the patronage of the University we have published WCAG 2.0 Good Practices Manual, dedicated to websites administrators, webmasters and each person interested in operations striving to make the Internet sites more accessible.
The Foundation, together with the University and deputy to the European Parliament Rafał Trzaskowski was the organizer of the national competition "Website without Barriers", addressed to public administration entities, NGOs and commercial sector.

Cooperation with Microsoft

microsoft websiteMicrosoft is an intrernational manufacturer of computer software as well as provider of complex solutions within the scope of cloud computing, server applications and other information technologies for individual clients, companies and administration.

Polish division of Microsoft actively participates in the development of economy and local society in Poland. Within the scope of its responsibility strategy, Polish division of Microsoft focuses on operations related to combating "digital exclusion" by diffusing IT knowledge and skills. To do so, it cooperates with many NGOs and together supports societies marginalized in the access to new technologies.

On 15 October 2012, in the Scientific Information Center and Academy Library in Katowice, solemn conclusion of tripartite agreement between the University of Silesia, Microsoft Sp. z o.o. and Widzialni Foundation was held. The purpose of cooperation is mutual exchange of experiences and taking common initiatives within the scope of combating digital exclusion and promotion of new technologies. The partners will organize conferences and information campaigns devoted to digital exclusion problem.

Cooperation with Canal+

Cooperation with Canal+ brought fruits in the form of translations for the channles MiniMini+, teleTOON and PLANETE. In June 2012 in the sign language version on channel MiniMini+ and teleTOON+ TV shows have appeared Raa Raa – mały, hałaśliwy lew” and Gormiti III - Nowa ewolucja”. In the following months Mały miś Kuba" and Stacyjkowo 2". Within the same time period, the channel teleTOON+ introduced The Jungle Book" in sign language. In September 2012 on channel Planete+ documentary movies were aired with sign language translation Max Kennedy” and Ptasia miłość. CANAL+ Cyfrowy, producent and broadcaster of MiniMini+ and teleTOON+, implements activities within the scope of social policy of responsible business, actively participating in the combat with digital exclusion of persons with hearing and sight disabilities. Since 2010, the flagship program of CANAL+ - Premium, as the only broadcaster in the country, airs all Polish movie premiers with subtitles for deaf persons. In 2013, pioneering service was introduced for blind and visually impaired persons - movies with audio-description.

Cooperation with UPC

UPC websiteUPC Polska is a leader of digital cable services: TV, broadband Internet and telephony for individual and business clients. UPS is engaged in the combat with digital exclusion and broadening of digital skill of Poles.

UPC Polska together with the Academy of Philanthropy Development in Poland has appointed the Coalition for Digital Inclusion of the Generation 50+ "M@turity in the net" - where Widzialni Foundation is also a partner. Its mission is to perform operations coaxing mature persons to gaining competences within the scope of using new technologies.

UPS Polska is also a member of Wide Agreement in Aid of Digital Skills in Poland within the scope of which, tasks are undertakes to improve digital skills and use them.

Cooperation with IAB

iab polska websiteWidzialni Foundation together with the Association of Internet Sector Employers IAB Polska promotes the idea of Internet accessible for everyone, Internet without barriers.

The purpose of the cooperation is to promote good practices related to combating digital exclusion among the commercial sector, common research, organization of conferences and events.

IAB Polska, as a leading Polish interactive organization and father figure in the Internet sector, significantly contributed to diffusing the idea of creating accessible internet sites.

"IT w Administracji" is a monthly magazine for computer scientists and IT managers in the public sector devoted to information technologies applied in the public sector, problems of widely comprehended e-administration, IT of public entities and legal problems in the IT sector.

Since 2009, Widzialni Foundation publishes in the magazine the accessibility results in the form of assessed lists. Our accessibility experts actively participate in the information conventions organized by IT w Administracji, lately in the workshops organized by the magazine as well.

Cooperation with the Silesian Museum

Silesian Museum websiteThe Silesian Museum continuously makes every endeavour so that services offered by it meet the requirements of various receivers, including elderly and disabled persons, striving to adapt its web site to their needs. Within the scope of the cooperation, we assist the Museum in adapting the Internet site according to WCAG 2.0 guidelines.

Widzialni Foundation provided its opinion concerning the project implemented by the Silesian Museum, by means of which, blind and visually impaired persons will "see" with touch the Polish Painting exhibition. The Museum opened a visiting path dedicated to blind and visually impaired persons with mapping of images in 3D casting technology together with exhaustive comment provided on headset by means of a special "remote".

Cooperation with Fundacja Rozwoju Społeczeństwa Informacyjnego (Information Development Foundation)

FRSI is a foundation supporting development of digital competences among Poles.

FRSI is one of the members-founders of the Coalition for Digital Inclusion of Generation 50+ “M@turity in the net”, which acts in aid of encouraging elderly people to actively use the Internet.

FRSI implements the program New Local Technologies”, which is to widen knowledge and skills among local societies within the scope of using modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The program is addressed to selected groups of NGOs from small towns and it is to show them, how to most effectively apply technologies and consciously select the best tools for the organization profile. As a result, this program should contribute to improvement and modernization of their operations.

Cooperation with Polish - American Freedom Foundation

Polish-American Freedom Foundation has been established with dual intention - strengthen the citizen society, democracy and market economy in Poland, including equalization of individual and social development chances as well as share the Polish experience within the scope of transformation with other countries of Central and Eastern Europe. PAFF is an organizer of the Polish edition of TechCamp, whose content-related partner is among other things Widzialni Foundation.  TechCamp is a chance for open discussion, exchange of ideas and experience within a group of hotheads in the IT sector. This informal meeting of people from IT sector is to integrate and support the development. PAFF is also an organizer of the conference "Sektor 3.0" within the scope of which new technoogies are promoted, which give the opportunity to develop the democracy participation models. The Foundation is a laureate of special prize "Sektor 3.0" awarded for many year long and efficient operations in aid of liquidation of barriers causing digital exclusion of disabled persons.

Wydawnictwo Naukowe PWN SA is one of the biggest publishing houses in Poland with the seat in Warsaw.

In March 2013 WCAG 2.0 Good Practices Manual by Przemysław Marcinkowski and Artur Marcinkowski was published by PWN.
