Wide Agreement in Aid of Digital Skills in Polnd was established by the Minister of Administration and Ditization Michał Boni and the National Digitization Leader Włodzimierz Marciński. The President of the Republic of Poland covered the undertaking with its patronage.

Purpose of the Agreement is to initiate and support activities leading to common digital education, promote good practices and diffuse digital technologies in Poland. 

The Agreements is an informal association of institutions of good will, organizations and companies, which identify themselves with its purposes and act towards their implementation. Widzialni Foundation is honoured to be one of the Agreement signatories.

Neelie Kroes, Commissioner of the European Commission for Digital Agenda was present a the Agreement inauguration, and compared our Agreement to the best European initiatives, which are in response of continuously growing demand for specialists with advanced digital competences, in particular to the Great Coalition in aid of digital work places and Manifest on e-Skills.

The Minister of Administration and Digitization Michał Boni underlined that "Universality and digital sophistication of members of a given country is the factor of society development dynamics". The European Commission states that in 2015, 90 percent of created jobs will require basic digital skills. According to this year research of Social Diagnosis, 36 percent of adult Poles do not use the Internet. 

Signatories to the Agreements found the transfer of digital skills necessary on the labour market to be a priority together with the increase of access to digital education, thus they will fight for improvement of the quality of Poles lives.

- "We will search for synergy between the initiatives implemented by us, collect information on good practices and propagate them even in the areas that seem far from digitization problems" - say Włodzimierz Marciński, Digitization leader.
